Chapter 7 and beyond...

In June 2006, my husband I filed Chapter 7. We were discharged in October 2006. When will this be bankruptcy go away from my credit report? :confused:

I was trying to find out more on the court records. I think the court keeps the bankruptcy record for a certain period of time (read 20 years) in their files, in case there's any necessity for it. I'm not totally convinced though.
