Let's see - the twins graduated, we had two new babies in the family - yea! And I have been slammed with overtime at work - which is a good thing but I have been collapsing at night. I had to work all weekend and need to go in early today. I can really use the money but the time is killing me! So I had a good cry and now today is a new day!

I wanted to see you online every time I am in the forums. The collection agency forum and many members here are waiting to see you back. You know we are thinking about you and want you to come back in the family. It????????s just a small misunderstanding that won????????t last forever. :)

Cajun, I haven't had the chance to be on here for a few days. I hope you aren't giving up! You're one of the most valued members here. You know more law than many attorneys I know.

roadwarrior - you are being a party pooper! I think that when something fun is going on in the pub, people just signing on can see that even though we are in debt up to our eyeballs and have to scrimp on a daily basis just to get by, it doesn't mean that you have to loose your sense of humor or be able to laugh at yourself. I think that it shows that when you get good advice, taught what the laws are in your state and what your rights are, and the weight is lifted off your shoulders the laughter helps you see that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. For me when I came here I was lonely and lost and horribly in debt, I read every thread that I could and I watch the commeraderie, friendship, help, advice and teasing that was posted by people just like me and I wanted what they had! So if we joke and tease, and fight and disagree, or get angry, maybe, just maybe someone like me who is hopeless will get the help, advice and friendship that they need in a time when all seems lost. Just my 2 cents.

I always thought the whole purpose of the Pub was "off topic" stuff. No offense to Roadwarrior, but just because we are posting in the Pub doesn't mean that we aren't still out there helping others in the other forums. This is a true "Pub" - a place to relax and chat with friends, or have discussions that don't relate to debt.

Alright, what we have here is a failure to communicate....got that from a movie. Cajun, whats up man? Talk to me. Trust me, I can't say that I don't like the 'guests' who come here and make derogatory comments or blanket everyone as "deadbeats", and I must not be seeing the comments being deleted by you, and if you are deleting them, I am sure there is good judgement on your part. I have no issue with anyone except.....yup, you guessed it, collectors and their filth that they bring here to our helpful threads. I really like debate, but as someone else said, it needs to be healthy debate. How do we debate against someone who calls us deadbeats, or tells us to pay our bills and collectors won't call us. That is not healthy and we should not have to deal with the immature guests comments. I have not seen a loss created from comments being deleted, if anything, the content at this site is improved. I have full faith in our Moderators, and have total comfort that they have the members interest at heart. So, thank you to Cajun and every moderator here. Please keep up the great work.

Anthony, your post is wonderful. As far as posts being deleted..That stinks, and I don't like it, but I will support the other mods in what they decide to delete. I think everyone here has a pretty tough spine, and we are all adults..we don't need protection from anyone or anything. Personally, I want to know what I'm up against, and I can get a bit offended that that right can be taken away from me.

My big beef is treatment of guests. Just because someone works for a CA doesn't make them a bad guy. I have been on this board for a long time, I have seen many many many guests. A lot of them CAs. Some of them are evil and crude..But a lot of them have offered helpful advice. Last winter there was one who helped me out tremendously, and had a huge part in getting me where I am today. This place is a sounding board for EVERYONE, and there is no reason to jump on someone right from the get-go. It's mean, and not fair. It's everything we accuse them of being. Tell me this, would you want to be a part of a community where you are afraid to post? In my opinion, the berating and bullying of guests is just as bad as this stupid constant bickering.

I have no issues with anyone on this board. I think everyone here has a lot of valuable input, and I'm proud to be a part of this place. I have said this before and will say it again..I think ALL OF US need to re-read the board rules.

If you want to communicate at that level you can always PM the person in private,or catch them in chat. This is no place to air dirty laundry!

The whole point of this topic which was never spoken of was a moderator not being supported for doing their duties by members,moderators,and admin. Messages I deleted were in violation of board rules and needed to be deleted to prevent flame wars/personal attacks. I am under the impression that mods are not doing deletions based on our rules. I will be checking in here from time to time,just don't expect me to moderate or do anything special for this forum.I post on about 8 different consumer boards and joined here to help people.If my experience is not good enough that a collector who has violated fdcpa by reading his posts about his job is more trustworthy than me. Yall enjoy your bashing and I will see how far this board crashes.
