I'm getting calls from allied interstate regarding a debt for someone I've never heard of. They've obviously got the wrong number, (my cell phone) but they won't take it out of their system even though they say they will.

I don't want to go through the time and expense to send them a registered letter asking for validation because this will be giving them my name and address.

Any way to fix this?

You should send a cease and desist letter to the collection agency. They will have to stop the calls after receiving your letter. Have you sent one? This is one of the federal laws and they are available to offer you the legal protection while dealing with the collection agencies. A template of the cease and desist letter can be found here.
