I got an alert from Experian that potential negative information was being put on my credit report. This isn't something new but I figured i'd check it. Well its Palisades. I know I owe this debt but it is currently being handled through Erskin & Fleisher since I let it go so far and I am paying them on time every month with a payment plan I set up with them. Palisades is still reporting to the agencies that I am not paying on time. What do I need to do to make them stop. From what I can see from Erskin & Fleisher they are not reporting to Experian.

Have you verified if Erskin & Fleisher is doing the collections for Palisades? There are chances that the law office is doing this collection on behalf of Palisades.

You need to call Erskin & Fleisher and get your account status. Keep proof of your previous payments in hand, just in case any dispute arises later.

Even though you are making great payments, they are still allowed to put negative information on report as long as its accurate. By that I mean all lines on tradeline are correct. Read up on the Fair Credit reporting act at www.ftc.gov. If the tradeline is indeed full of errors,do a dispute with credit bureaus.
