I agree with Leah. When I delt with them, it was before I found this site. They are actually the reason I joined this forum....to help others stay away from Ass &
****. Like dumb & dumber. THey called my personal cell phone and work cell number. They left messages saying that I had to either call them back or have my attorney call them back. When I called, the lady told me that I had to pay them over $600 on a $200 IPDL or that they would be sending court papers to the courthouse to have me arrested for internet fraud, wire fraud, etc. When the lady on the phone saw that I had used my work's email address she said that I would probably also lose my job since I work at a bank and had used their property to commit wire fraud. Well, I FREAKED! I called my mom and borrowed money from her and sent it to them by moneygram like they said to. I didn't hear from them after that...until....I got a call a few months later from some guy that said the same thing. I knew I had done two IPDLs, so I gave in to his demands, too. So, I paid them both. Then, a few weeks after that, the same guy calls me back saying I owe them even more on another IPDL. I called his BS for what it was and told him I would not be paying them any more money. I told him that I could fax him a copy of my bank statement showing that I only had 2 IPDL and that he can stuff it. He never called me back after that. So, that was that. Do NOT pay them anything.

Guest...you're missing my point here. If you actually READ what I wrote above, you can see that I paid well above what was "owed". Even after I paid them what was "owed", they still tried to get even more money out of me. That's the point. They will continue to bleed you dry after you pay them everything you owe, plus some. I am so tired of people saying we are deadbeats and don't want to pay money we owe. The whole problem is that we do pay what we owe, and then these bottom feeders think they've got some kind of gravy train and they can keep going after us to get even more. It really has to stop. It ALL has to stop. Wake the frack up! (Yes, I do watch too much Battlestar Galactica)

Guest,it is amazing that we are all deadbeats.Yet somehow you and your collector buddies still manage to make your commission. Now why don't you buzz off!

I dealt with Allen Lewis & Associates which may be an affiliate of Bass & Associates. There has been some question on that but I was contacted by an Oliver Winslow. It was regarding an old mycashnow account. I was threatened with interstate bank fraud, etc, etc. I have it written down so I would have to get the whole list for you.
