This company is continuously harrassing me for an outstanding payday loan and they have recently sent a collection letter with outstanding debt information, etc to my place of employment. Unfortunately they had an old address and the letter was rerouted throughout the company. It finally landed in my hands but was sent to me inter-office via my HR department and they now want to meet with me. Any suggestions on how I should pursue this and should I hire an attorney since I am terrified that I will now lose my employment over this?

i would draft a WAGE ASSIGNMENT REVOCATION LETTER asap.i would explain the situation as honestly as you can.they probably also tried to put through a wage assignment.alot of companies have employees that are going through this.they probably want your side of things.

i would just in case.some HR people might still let it through.it's best to have your bases covered.have it,but only use it if you need to.
