Send DV more than 30 days after initial receipt?

I have one account that is now owned by LVNV and being collected by Resurgent Capital. I received a letter from them when I was still under the debt reduction program so did not send out a DV at that time.
My question is should I still send one out? I know the collection company would not have to stop collection activities since it's past the 30 days, but do they still need to validate the debt even though it is now more than 30 days past the initial contact?

They are one and the same. There addresses are only different by the suite numbers. Remember that an untimely DV will not cease collection efforts and they never have to respond to a DV. They will however, have to mark the tradeline in dispute.
