I recentl recieved a document taped to my door stating that i was envolved in a court case with forster garbus and lvnv funding llc. I do not doubt that i owe some of the money they say i do but they almost doubled the amount. I have not been in contact with them i have read some of the posts on here as to see what my actions should be. The paper work is dated for jul 8th 2008 and this is the first i have heard of this case. I am going to send a DV letter to lvnv and the law firm but when contacting some local lawers they said the case wasnt enough money for them to take it on. So can i represent myself and what should m first step be.....

There is no court date assigned ont he paper only a stamp from erie county clerk and that too is dated for july 8th 2008. What should my next step be if it isnt in default yet if they put it on the door i should have 30 days to respond right? And from what i have read on this site and others i see they dont respond in a timely fashion.
