What recourse is there when a collection agency harrasses you at work even though you have made arrangements to pay?

They are violating the FDPCA. File a complaint against them with the Federal Trade Commission ( www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov ) and your state Attorney General's office. Mail them a Cease and Desist Letter. They are being absolutely rude and ridiculous.

In the meantime, tell your place of employment that this is a harassing call and see if they can just disconnect the call when that particular number shows up on the caller ID.
