i have a debt for a credit card opened back in 1998. joe pezzuto has the account now and is sending me letters asking me to pay. i have made payments to him before and because they were not large enough, he stop accepting the payment. it is on my credit report as unpaid by the original bank. can i pay the bank or just make pmts. to joe pezzuto until its paid in full? i am in texas.
