LVNV on report... help?!

2 of my Citibank cards have become LVNV. In March, according to my Equifax, LVNV "opened" these two Citibank accounts.
In June, it is posted that LVNV took possession of the accounts as creditors. I've received nothing from either LVNV or Citibank about these changes.
Anyone have experience with LVNV? Should I write to them with a debt validation letter immediately? If so, how should I structure it? I want to do it right as I've read they are gnarly hardballers when it comes to collecting and reporting.
Thanks anyone... :)

LVNV Funding LLC is a Collection Agency to whom Citibank might have sold your debts. So you should send them a Debt Validation letter by certified mail with return receipt and get it validated. You can find sample letters for DV if you visit the link debt settlement letters.
