Read a article on here some time back, how a DV letter was sent and never answered, bottom line the person was told it was removed and sent back to LVNV. Well I got a letter from Capital Management Services, a Sherman Acquisition owned company, by the way which also owns LNNV funding. So I decided to send them A DV letter, they signed for it on the 23 rd, got a response on the 24th from them they no longer held the account. it was sent back to LVNV funding. Bottom line was the Moderator basically said don't spend the money sending DV letters to these satellite collector, Send it to LVNV directly, my next move. when they don't respond I'm going after the Credit companies to remove it from my report. If they decide to to take it to court, I won the golden goose, the debt is past the SOL. $1000.00 in my pocket plus cost. After I play the game with them for a while I will send a SOL letter, then follow up with a C&D. Two can play their game. Bottom line if LVNV farmed out your account to one of Sermans other companies send the DV to LVNV Funding and save some bucks on the the mailing, since the debt will get passed around.

LVNV, I have never seen someone operate under so many different names. Resurgent, Sherman, Northland, Alexis, etc. etc. etc. have you looked at some of their complaint responses on the web? They parse words more than a politician. Open account doesn't literally mean open. An installment account is defined by the credit bureaus as a revolving account etc, etc, etc. only a matter of time before these guys get nailed. Best of luck to you!
