I am looking for advise on what to do. I am not able to afford this debt right now. I will give you all the info that I can think of.

This started about one year ago. I had a debt for aprox $15,000 which was turned over to collections (Arrow Financial Services) after I agreed to settle this account for $4,000 with Bank of America. Bank of America didn't take the $4,000 out of my account on the day they said they would and then turned it over to collections the next day. I received a letter from a collection agency and was scared and tried to resolve it with them with $400 payments monthly. I paid them $2,500 initially and $2,000 over the next 8 months. I then was not able to pay them anymore.

This is an unsecure debt.

Yesterday I received a letter in the mail from Nelson, Watson and Associates saying they want all the money $10,454 in the next 30 days. I am not able to pay this and am looking for information on what I can or should do to resolve this so I don't get sued for the remaining money.

Since it is an unsecured debt I don't think they can go after personal property to pay it back. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

debt validation.make them prove they have legal right to collect and demand what they are demanding.

Don't let Collection Agencies scare you. If you file taxes as Head of Household, in many States your garnishproof !
Check the laws in your State.
