I just received a notice fron Sunrise Credit Services stating that they were attempting to collect a debt that was previously owned by Quickestfastcash.com which apparently is MTE aka Rio Resources. In the notice it says: When you receives a collection notice...
1. Don't get angry..Your account came to us from someone who values your business.
2. Communicate with us... If you believe you don't owe this bill.
3. Let us help... Our people are experienced in credit and collections and are able to assist you if you let them.
Then I read who bought the debt. First American Investments. One of the worst bottom feeders in the country. Please go here and read about them.

I will send my debt validation letter out tomorrow. ARM had this one before and could not validate it because MTE is unlicensed and a poor record keeper. They could produce nothing but the fact that I took a loan once so I don't imagine these people will have anything either. No I won't get angry. I will just get busy. I will communicate just as they asked. But no, I do not need their help!

Hard to believe that Sunrise Credit Services actually say that in their letter to you. Dont get angry . That in itself tells me that they know that what they are doing is off the wall. Go get em Frog

I just got a letter in the mail from Sunrise, same thing about not getting angry, for a magazine that was $12. If I had ordered the magazine and had received it I could see the issue, but I didn't get it and didn't order it. The funny thing is I ordered two other ones but paid for them. I have no idea what is going on here. But I just emailed them and told them to knock it off.

The troll is right, to an extent...we all failed to honor our debts as promised, or wouldn't have to deal with collections. Still...s**t happens to the best of us. As an aside, why interject your opinion where it isn't wanted? That makes no sense. Either way...I'm currently dealing with Sunrise Credit Services...it's hilarious because while they are on my credit report, they have no record of me in their system, despite the fact I DO, in fact, owe the debt they said I owe. I've never had such a hard time trying to pay money I owe. Gotta love it.

no the troll is wrong.sorry, but in your case i would file disputes with the credit bureaus.what's hilarious is i wouldn't stand for what you are putting up with.either that or you just want to pay it.can't decide which yet,but if a place dinged my credit, but doesn't have a record of me.they are reported not paid.btw we all advocate paying what you owe.it's just a matter of if the place you are paying has legal right to collect.

Hi

I recently out of nowhere received a letter from Sunrise debt collection. And it says I owe GCO loan funding 30k. YES 30K!!!! OMG
Yes I do have loans for the 4 year of college I attended, but I do not recall signing in for anything called GCO. I am working part time, barely keeping up with the 7 loans I already have to pay each month.
And out of no where this comes up. Does anyone know anything about this? WHat is GCO?
I just sent out my dispute letter. But did not have it certified... So now I am just waiting.
I hope this wont result in any legal actions, do not have the money or time to be dealing with this right now....

I just got a call from them at 6:30am. I used the recall on my caller id, but they denied making the call. Uh, huh........ They didn't want to tell me who they were or why they were calling without me giving them a lot of personal information "for verification". Uh huh..... I don't think so. I told them not to call again. They said they'd remove my number. We'll see.....
