Be aware of the fdcpa laws while dealing with the crook in their office. Maybe you can start recording their phone calls if they threaten you. Check the state laws before recording because you don't want to do something that might put you in their trap.. Send the debt validation letter to their mailing address. The letter is to be sent through certified mail and return receipt requested. You have to cover your basis legally so that you can force actions against them.
