I do not think that is a fair statement Ryan. Whlie there are some, most reputable CA's will fully abide by the FDCPA. The problem is the bottomfeeders and offshore collectors that have no regard for the law and get a majority of the press will try to scare you. Most collection agencies will work with you to the best of thier ability. They will not roll-over and be upfront an honest with you as long as you do not play games by ignoring thier calls/letters or not living up to your agreement.
