What are the payment options? What is the name of the collection agency? Don't pay any money in a hurry. Send a written notice to the collection agency and ask them to validate the debt first. If the debt is validated, then you can negotiate a settlement with the CA. If the debt is not validated, then send a Cease and Desist letter to them.
