Does anyone know the SOL in the State of GA? Also, if a Debt is older than 7 years but was purchased by a collector and shows up as a new debt, is this possible?

In the state of Georgia, statute of limitation (SOL): -
Written Contracts = 6
Oral Agreement = 4
Promissory Notes = 6
Open-ended Accounts = 4

Your debt has definitely passed its SOL. Many debt collectors buy junk debt from creditors and harass debtors. These collectors don't have any legal authority in collecting these debts. Thus, this junk debt can't be shown as new debt.
