I got a call from a david greico concerning an account with them. I made arrangements and couldn't make the payments because of my tuition. I told them to take it out of my account and he said he was going to turn my file over to my local sheriff's office for writing bad checks. I don't know what to do. I didn't give them a check. Can they do this? I'm in louisiana and the company was my cash now and cash central. i'm more than willing to pay back but they try to bully me into accepting payments that i just can't make right now. What do i do? I'm freaking out, I don't want to go to jail.

i'm guessing these are internet?if so then they are illegal in LA.two questions

how much borrowed from each
how much in fees debited before default.

srs is a bottomfeeder CA for illegal pdl's.this person broke the law saying that.debts are civil matters,not criminal ones.do a search in the bar at the top.you should get an address to send a debt validation letter.personally i wouldn't talk to him again.he is trying to illegaly collect on illegal loans.do not give him anything without something in writing first.

how did you pay?sorry to say,but if they have your bank info.you will need to close it,and open a new one.you can do that at the same bank.did you give this person your bank info?
