United Nations Legal Department – How they scam consumers
Date: Mon, 11/10/2008 - 08:41
This person calls me every morning, anywhere from 3-7 times in immediate succession, BEFORE 8 AM. I can only assume this is for past due PDLs, because I did default on a couple, but I have not called them back.
Where do I file a complaint regarding this company? This is definitely harassment.
File a complaint against them to FTC or State Attorney General.

United Nations Legal Department
I also am getting these phone calls claiming to be the United Nations Legal Department. Mine is coming from Denver, Colorado and the phone number is 720-259-5223. They told me this time to meet them in court in my very small town (we don't even have court here) for check fraud. I did not tell them that information. They are foreign speaking people but I do not know what nationality. I told them they were a scam and this seemed to anger them. I am interested in what call other people are getting so I can compare notes. I have received 3 call already today. My first 2 were at about 8:00 am and the last one was at about 12:45 p.m. Believe me they are not scaring me. I know our United Nations does not do business this way and in fact are not in any way associated with bills!! I forgot to add that they claim that their managers name is Richard Simpson.
