they sent my employer a wage garnishment notice and waiting for my employer to answer it. can i still vacate the default judgement against me? i was improperly served. they served it to an old address that i have not lived there in years. they have come close to getting there money but i told my employer to hold off on giving them my money.

A garnishment, or a wage assignment? Garnishments require a judgement, but your employer wouldn't have any choice on paying them. If this is indeed a garnishment, contact the court that issued the judgement immediately. You can request that the judgement be vacated for improper service. Wage assignments are a different animal. Those are voluntary, and can be revoked by you.
