How easy is it to get judgements and court items off of a credit report? I don't have any BK's but a couple of garnishments. I heard it was usually easy because courts are so busy they don't respond in enough time. I disputed the two garnishments on my credit report saying they were not mine, but the investigation concluded they are and remain on my CR. They have been paid off for awhile.

What I'm trying to dispute is that I have a garnishment on my credit report. So it is being reported that way. Then the CA is also reporting it on my credit report as well. Thirdly (is that a word) the original creditor is still reporting it as well. It only says charged off. So I am being dinged 3 times for one account. The garnishment should read that it was done on behalf of the CA or something like that. I just don't think I should have 3 things on there. And what's worse, I let the CA garnish my wages. When I got the judgement, they were willing to work out a payment plan with me but I said just go ahead and continue with the garnishment. Then I would know that they would be getting their money and it would be taken care of. I wasn't knowledgeable enough to negotiate what my credit report should reflect. The CA was one of the more professional ones. They were good to work with and pleasant to speak too. So, that's why I am trying to dispute some of the items. Plus the garnishment was about 2-3 years ago.
