Is there an actual experian phone number live person
for Experian to speak with a live person??? Not the automated system ... I am having the most frustrating time!!

I get my credit report daily from truecredit ... there are 2 items ONLY on my experian report that are not mine. I have talked to the creditor listed and have letters dismissing me from reposibility for the items. I tried doing an online dispute with experian, they said I don't have a "report #" so I can't file a dispute unless I order a report through them. I tried to order one online said they cannot verify my identity, mailed in my identity, they mailed me back asking for the same info I just sent. So I mailed it again with a letter and all my dispute info and the letter they sent me ... again, the same generic letter. Tried to order online again, they can't verify my identity and won't let me dispute online because I don't have a report. Yet I have a report from truecredit, autofax and citifinancial BUT none with an experian credit report # ... SO I am just screwed. I called credit expert and after they verfied me on the phone they tried to walk me through online and when it did not verify me they could not explain why and sent me to another site where I would have to put my cc and pay which I won't do so they told me they can't help me or provide me with a better # for experian ... I am soooo frusterated!! I have proof these are not mine but experian won't even let me give it to them! This has been 2 months that this is effecting my credit! Is this even legal???

Thanks' for the phone #'s
Will be tring them shortly

Here's the phone number to Experian, Allen, Texas ...PAT- Manager of Operations -she over the call center and the she's the top executive - thank GOD! (972) 390-3912. She seems nice and the other phone number - Pete McCallum (972) 390-4183- he supposed to handle credit reports and Consumer Assistance. I been dealing with idiots in the call cente and dumb supervisors like Karen, Mrs. Ford, Mrs, Jones, and reps like Crystal, Lorraine, Janice, Vicky, Veronica and other who are too dumb 2 name.

I've been disputing a charge on my credit reports for three years. This was involving a card that was never activated by me, yet I was continually billed monthly for late fees, eventually ending up in Court!!! The credit bureaus kept "verifying" it as mine!!!!! Finally, I contacted an attorney specializing in this type of illegal and deceptive debt collection practices, LEMBERG & ASSOCIATES. I believe they have offices in many states. They resolved the issue with the debt collector, however, Experian still refused to remove it from my credit report. I contacted the Attorney General's Office who wrote to them. Still, they refuse to remove it. I disputed this again and it has again been verified as true!!!!! I am at my wits end. This company should be out of business. My next step will be a certified letter to the FCRA and a formal complaint. I finally got through to a real person and was given the wrong address to mail documents; they were returned to me "addresssee unknown"!!!

What you need to do is to have the company that place it on your report to send it to the credit agency. Also don't forget to get a copy of the statement.

The first thing you need to do is go to the police station and file and Identity Fraud. Call the card company and informed what you have done. The card company will send you a Identity Fraud Packet, try to talk to a Supervisor. Complete the packet and send it certified mail. They will send you a letter stating that it was removed, then send that letter to all 3 credit companies.
