Can u give a little more information on this please? Was it a settlement? How long is it gonna stay on ur report from now? U may be able to call the creditor or CA that's reporting and ask nicely if it can be removed since it's been paid.... but usually PIF's do help ur score!
Good Luck,

I was in a similar situtation. I had some debts on my credit report that were marked paid, but i wanted them to come off, what i did was disputed the paid items on my credit report, most likely the creditors will not respond to the dispute becasue they have their money. If the credit agencies do not get a respond from the company within 30 days it will automatically delete. It doesnt work with everyone but i have had 3 to 4 items removed. Experian are hard to dispute but you never know until you try.

i have 2 paid collections and 2 credit cards that are now closed but were past due A LOT. I have asked nicely for these items to be removed and i get a very unpleasant snotty no each time from each source. Everything has been paid off completely, but their presence is making me ineligible for many things. I got behind on my bills about 2 years ago, so I assume i have another 5 years for them to drop off.

Have u tried disputing them? Like was suggested, if u dispute more than likely some of them will not respond back to bureau since they have their money and they will drop off... Try this and let us know how it goes!
Good Luck,

As suggested disputing it with the CRA is the best way out. Send them a dispute letter via certified mail with a RRR.
