What's the best way to keep track of your credit scores, without having the wallet ripped offa your ass in the process? I'm getting reports from the big 3. I'm also getting the idea that it's not enough. I'd like a better idea of how I'm doing. But I'd rather not pay an arm and a leg for the info.

uncle the only score to believe is from myfico.com and costs more than I like to pay. Now with a credit monitoring service to track your progress and it will include some fake scores that will go up and down but are not to be relied on for credit decisions.True Credit is the most common service from truecredit.com
