What is BC Services on my credit report?

Welcome to the forums! A quick search of Google on BC Services turned up a collection agency in Colorado. Does your credit report list an account number or other info as to what type of debt this is?

No it doesnt have an account number... its x'd out.

Ok, I would say your best bet would be to contact BC Services with a validation of debt letter so you can be sure of what this debt is for.

Some credit reports list the type of debt - did it say anything about it being medical, credit card, etc?

Also, did the report show any sort of date the account was opened on this debt? That could possibly help you with finding out if this debt is past the SOL for your state, depending on the type of debt.

It doesnt say what kind of debt it is. I cant get a number to contact BC Services. I cant find anything about them.

The address listed on whitepages also matched the address listed on BC Services offical website.

Hopefully this information helps someone out. Their official website offered no help to the consumer at all - only to the company looking to sell their collection-bound debts.
