How do I get collection calls that are not mine to stop?

wfnnb is not a debt collector. Cease and desist communication won't apply on them.

Inform your daughter about the WFNNB calls. She will take care of them and the calls will stop.

Since you said the C & D won't work in this case, I'm assuming that wfnnb is the original creditor, and the C & D only works with third party collections, is this correct?

I got those calls for someone that used to have my number. I called the phone company and they blocked them. Youy can give it a try. KYSIDE38

brownsugar, you got it. wfnnb is a creditor, so they are not bound to follow the fdcpa rule. You can try a cease and desist communication on them, but there is no rule that they will have to follow it legally. Like Kyside said, you can always give a try.
