Does anyone know anything about this place from Malta?

Hi Brooksmom. Can you give us more information? I had a loan with Cashtransfer and the company was also called Northway.

And they also have close ties to Sonic Payday (I think they're one and the same). All I can say is: BEWARE.

Yes, do beware, but don't worry about not being in control of the situation. A debt counselor will tell you how to handle your situation.

They also go by Paydayavenue. Lisa Burton is the account manager and she has no respect for anyone. Her # is (866)261-4036. If you have defaulted on a ipdl with them, please give your employer a wage assignment revocation letter b/c CTC, Sonic, Northway, or Paydayavenue will attempt a wage assignment.

If you haven't got a loan with them yet, don't. It will only put you deeper in debt than you already are.. :D

I was so embarrassed when the office manager showed up at my desk with a wage assignment. She was understanding, but it was very embarrassing.

All those IPDLs are owned by E-Care. The company was run out of Malta, and it is now based in Canada. The company is probably not far from being

If Lisa Burton is the person that I have heard about, she is a complete nutjob. She treats her employees and customers with zero respect.

But from what I have gathered from talking to folks in the industry and reading the forums here, is that the difference between E-Care and most of the other IPDLs, is that E-Care will actually make good on all of their threats. Most of the others are just blowhards, and most of your trauma will come once it is sent to a third party CA.

Correction: They are not far from being run out of Canada as well.

Doug, can you shed any light on CashNet500 discussed in my post about them not being a lender. Their URL redirects to Payday-Loans-Yes and Brownsugar discovered Payday-Loans-yes with a physical Utah address. My research shows no license for either in Utah.

I believe that CashNet500/Global Payday/Payday-Loans-Yes, et al outfit, are not licensed anywhere.

They are shady as all get out.

In the past Pinion collected on their accounts, but now they do a lot of in-house collection before selling the debt.

I will go look for your other post to see what specific information you were looking for.
