770-218-9199 - Has anyone received calls from Joseph Stevens & Assoc.?

Steven Larrimore is an ......crazy stalker!! He has called everyone in my family looking for one person, he leaves foul language on all our voicemails daily. I had to get all our phones blocked and notify the police n the FBI, He is not a professional and I still do not know what his business is, just beware of him.

How do you get this stopped? How do you report this guy? Do you file a complait to the FBI?

Hi I got a call from this guy a couple days ago,he called my father's home! Then he sent a letter with the heading "Joseph & Stephens Associates 5150 Stilesboro Road, Suite 610, Kennesaw, GA 30152 (888)529-9996. They say that for a $4,135.04 debt they will accept $839.04, generous huh? especially since the debt is with a company i have NEVER done business with.Of course the money order is to be made out to them. He was so rude on the phone, but trust me he was no match for me. I was searching for info on them and found this site and just thought i would give you all the info i had, maybe help someone else. My son and daughter ( living in 2 different states) received a " lets settle " letter with the same exact info on it. Additionally, it was addressed to me & my wife but to my son & daughter's addresses. I instructed them to return the letters to sender marked with UNKNOWN across the front. They were trying to collect on a credit card that no one in our family has. Those letters came from an address in Kenasaw Georgia. This must be a group with franchises and looks at old credit reports to find obscure accounts to try to collect upon. BAD NEWS stay away from them.

I got a call from another number that may be related to the business of Joseph Stevens and associates. DBA for others as well.... They are being investagated by the LA DA., threatened us about a debt that was a job years ago....gone bad, no money owed. She then told us our credit was bad, not but one mark of a couple of hundred, and it was wrong and thanks to this business...I found out, and it will be removed...then she said they would make it worse?....then she "shouted" out my social security and my husbands as well as our credit score.....All of this information was, according to the California Contractors Board, probably fradulently obtained....and I immediately put a fraud alert on all three credit bureau's.....beware....and the number I was harrassed from was 1-818-474-8398.....beware. It took me all of a few minutes to find out all about this company and to contact the DA's office....

We have received a letter from them stating that we owed some ridiculous amount of money and were being taken to court over this. I called them and the man, Steve Larrimore, answered, no one else was available to speak with me, and then he proceeded to berate me and call me a lying c@*t. This is Soooooo inaccurate it is amazing!

If Stephen Larrimore or his bill collection agency, Joseph Stephens & Associates calls you hang up. The State of Georgia revoked his liscense on 5/16/08.

I am amazed that there have been so many complaints....yet noting has been done. i want to change that; they burnt me too. I have an attorney as does one other person spearheading this em masse case. we have over 70 victims add to the list of complaints if you want something done to stop these guys mac kearns at g mail dot com or brejniak at aol dot com together we can stop them. thank you:evil:

Joseph Stevens and Associates is a collection agency out of Ventura County California. My debtor currently has a law suit pending with them for "keeping" the money I sent them that was payable to her.

i want this larrimore character, he took me for 3200. i contacted kearns but never heard a word, low and behold though an attorney contacted me and wanted me to pay him 5K to go after larrimore (js&a) and I said hell no (kearns is in this together to make money) all scammers

I"m glad I did a little research into this company.. he called me today seeking a "Michelle" .. that happens to be my middle name so I chit chatted with him to make sure it wasn't me... he asked if I needed a job, he was hiring and getting accounts from AMEX to collect on... I just recieved a call today from this buttwipe Steve Laramore from this same company. He calls my home, I was at work of course, and leaves a message, he calls my stepmom and she calls me ready to jump my a** when she said that I need to call this dude asap because I have a court date for Februay 25 at the courthouse in Chicago. Buttwipe told her that it is about a bill that I should have been paying on for sometime now. I did not know anything about this company my mom made it sound like he has been trying to get a hold of me for some time and that I have never called him back. By this time I hurried up home and got on my computer to research this company and sure enough this is what I find! Good thing is I researched them now before it has gone any further or money out of my pocket. This company has gone way too far and they need to go down!

Steve Larrimore contacted me yesterday, called from the 770-218-9199, (found me on a website), asked if he brought -1000 cash and could meet me at a place of my choosing such as a mall. He then wanted me to shop and treat him like a dirt bag the whole while. (says its his fantasy for me or any lady for that matter im sure, to shop while "acting" like he is your husband but you really hate him and he disgust you meaning the only reason you married him is for his money!
So basically wanted to meet at a mall, get treated like shit and get took for his money!
DID'NT HAPPEN!! My husband and I are not done with this idiot!

He said he would bring $1000.00 in cash for me to spend as I please and whatever i dont spend i would pocket for myself. He contacted me yesterday Feb.10,2011. He asked that it play out as quoted here, "For me to act like his wife but I only married him for his money, other than that I was to act like he disgust me, i hate him, to even slap him in the face if i like. He then proceded to say that I sound really sweet and he was afraid I might not be mean enough lol!! So I said Ok, meet me at the mall at a paticular bench, of course I brought my husband along with me, needless to say he was not there! The scary thing is, what if had been some gullible young girl that agreed to allowing someone to pick me up, thinking im going on a free shopping spree, I'm very concerned about this man and him calling that kind of young lady. Wow, thanks to these posts, I am most certain that this guy is nothing but a jerk! He has sent me a letter, same address GA and called me with the same phone # listed in these posts. He is calling about a debt I owe with a company, and when I called the company they have no record of me even owing a debt. Unfortunately I made the mistake of calling this guy from my cell phone, so is this an actual debt collector or what? Seems like a stalker to me!

After receiving 2 phone calls from this person regarding a debt that no longer exists, I started to get very suspicious ... The 2nd time Mr. Larrimore called me, he started shouting at me, calling me a liar, and threatening to have my husband's salary garnished. I suppose one of the red flags for me was that he used a name I have not been known by for nearly 25 years (a last name from a previous marriage). If you would like for me to join your "fight" to try to put a stop to this, I will be more than happy to do so! When I told this jerk that I work within the local justice center and I know all of the Judges, most of them on a first-name basis, as well as the Captain who is over the Civil Process dept. of our local sheriff's office, he started to back down, but continued to threaten me by saying I would be "served" next Tuesday. I am, should I say "happy" to see that I am not the only person he is doing this to?! I suppose he thinks he can continue to prey on people that he thinks are too stupid to know any better. I say, let's help him get what's coming to him!!!!

:xThis person is still up to the same BS. I turned him in to my state(IL) Attorney General just to be told basically that he had a license, for what?? It boils down to my Attorney General must be a joke, she isn't going to do a DAMN thing! I'll remember this when it's time to vote again.

I received two letters from this idiot. One at my home with mine and my husbands names on it and another one at his parents home with our names but their address. Same exact letter, tried to say we owed money for a power bill for over $4,000. Now we all know that NO power compay is going to let you get that far into them before they shut your power off. PLUS I have not had that company in over 20 years! and I am sure "IF" I had owed them any money they would have contacted me before now. He is nothing other then a SCAM artist!!! DO NOT give this man any $$$.
