I apologize if I am asking a question that has already been answered in here somewhere but there's so much information it's hard to sift through it all.

Does anyone have an actual address for MyCashNow that I can send a letter to them telling them that I am no longer going to authorize payments to them being that I have already paid them over the amount of the initial loan and I recently found out that payday loans are illegal in the state I live in?

Also, another PDL that I had with Oasis 1 Marketing has been turned over to PDM for collection and I want to send them a letter also advising them that I have already paid $1,620 on a $300 loan and I am not paying anymore due to the illegality of PDLs in CT. Does anyone have a legitimate address for them?

I understand it's important to send certified letters to these companies so that's why I need addresses if possible.

Thanks for any help!

I applied for a loan and I can not seem to find the adddress to repay the loan. I am wondering if you all could help me find them. Instancashdebits

I took out a loan with Instant Cash USA. I live in California where the maximum amount that can be loaned by a PDL is $300.00
Instant Cash USA loaned me $400.00 which is illegal by California law. I did not discover this until an attorney friend of mine told me in a casual conversation about the illegal dealings of PDL's. In addition, this company is NOT licensed in the State of California so any loan they make is in the state is illegal. I have paid them well over initial loan amount of $400.00 but they continue to debit my personal checking account. I am suing in small claims court for the amount above and beyond the $400.00 they have debited my account along with court costs to file, serve the papers and collect the judgement. I am suing for $7500.00 and my attorney says this is being lenient on them. My suggestion is to SUE them ASAP, here is a copy of the letter you can send them to their e mail address: customercare@instantcashusa.com

Name Of PDL Instant Cash USA and ALL affiliates

Your Name
City, State
Account

After doing research regarding Internet payday loan laws in the State of California, I have found that your Internet payday loans are actually illegal. I have also found the following laws to be true applying to payday loans in the State of California in general:

The maximum amount that can be loaned in California is $300.00 I am willing to close this account immediately with no further obligation or payments. Any further attempts to collect monies from my bank accounts will result in legal proceedings per the following:

I hereby revoke any and all ACH authorizations with your company from debiting any of my personal accounts, per Federal law, Regulation E Section 205.10 Preauthorized transfers. I have closed my account with the XXXXXX to protect my interest in this matter, per instructions from The California Department of Finance. I also revoke any and all wage assignments I may or may not have signed with your company, I no longer authorize you, your company, or your affiliates to attach any part of my wages or contact my employer for your collection purposes. I have notified my employer about this matter so any attempts to do so on your part will be rejected.

I demand that any contact be made through US Postal mail or email only. I will need everything in writing to keep accurate records of all communication as per instruction from my Attorney General's Office.
I prohibit you or your affiliates to contact me via telephone at my place of employment or my home
telephone number. I also prohibit you from calling my references listed on my loan.

Due to the fact that Internet payday loans must be licensed in the state of California to be a legal and binding contract, your company should NOT issue loans to California residents at all. I am requesting that you send me your license number which enables you to offer loans to California residents.

The legal amount that could have been charged to my loan is the principal amount, even IF your Internet pay day loan were legal anywhere in the U.S.. I am willing to pay the principle amount of the loan only, however, this is only if you provide me with a physical address where I can send payments.

I must also inform you that I will be filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, and the California Attorney General's Office.

I expect a response from your company no later than 5 days from the above date regarding this matter. This response may only come via US Postal mail or email. No telephone contact is permitted.

Sincerely,

CC:
Better Business Bureau
California Attorney General
Federal Trade Commission

Use this letter to file your complaint with Instant Cash USA or any other PDL, make sure to replace areas of the letter with your appropriate information before sending.
Also, if you live in California and have had similar problems with Instant Cash USA I would love to hear from you so we can file a class action lawsuit against these folks, we will win the lawsuit, they are in serious violation of California and Federal law, let's make it hurt!
Please post here if you are interested in filing a class action lawsuit against:
