I am a foodie...I love talking about food, reading about food, watching it on TV and of course consuming food. About mid-day I start thinking of what I am going to have for dinner.

So tell us, whats for dinner tonight in your home?

When I was a kid ( along long time ago) I walked back and forth to the Catholic school I went to in an old Italian neighborhood of Chicago (where else would be parents be) and when the weather was nice there was this little old man who sold italian lemon ice for .....yes....5 cents. We would always get one for the walk home! Memories!!!

I love Spumoni WITH the candied fruit!!!

I love food!! Luckily with my running I'm in shape, and I'm petite anyway. But my cholesterol sure can get out of whack!! I swear, we're all going to die from something. I was rushing, I was at a football game tonight, so I had a lukewarm hotdog. yuck, they didn't even have any onions to put on it.

Yes, my sis lives in ypsilanti. My son has been there alot and he wanted us to go so we went this summer. It was so awsome. I love history and this was really neat. Hubby is a car fan so he walked around in a daze. Son wanted to go to Greenfiled and hubby did not, I talked him into it and was so happy I did. It was awsome. Even he thought so. We got to sit on the green and listen to dixiland jazz. It was soo cool. talk about good icecream with colored sprinkles.

Frog, from what I hear they don't serve anything worth eating on the plane anymore anyhow so we should be good and hungry for tamales when we get there.

OMG Karen I LOVE fair food! I didn't go this year because my back was hurting really bad. I ONLY go to the fair for the food!!!!!! I love funnel cake and elephant ears!!!!! I had blood work done today and am not expecting good results.........I have been taking my cholesterol meds though.

I am so hungry now too. I have never heard of the fried mashed potatoes on a stick!!! They sound really good, though. I really need to stay away from fried food. I came in late since I had a dr. appt this morning so I don't get a lunch....my coworker is going on a BK run so that's what I will have today.
