How do I find out if a company is licensed to do business in my state or not I am in Florida and I am trying to find out about oneclickcash and usfastcash which I think are both the same companies just different dba names.

I looked on the list that Goudah is talking about and I have not found a single internet payday lender licensed in Florida that I recognize from these threads. Not even Cash Net Usa who is supposed to be licensed everywhere. I remember one occasion where a company would not loan me because they were not licensed in Florida. That is rare! The only ones that I recognize on the list are Florida Store Fronts like Amscot and Check n Go.

I just looked on Cashnet USA's website, and it says this regarding Florida:

Quote:

CashNetUSA will not be the lender for loans received at this site. CashNetUSA is a Credit Services Organization. We will attempt to arrange a loan between you and a third party lender and service that loan once it is issued. Any questions, service issues or complaints about your loan will be addressed by CashNetUSA and not the lender.

does anyone know if New York has a representative or a professonal services bureau that will investigate these people. They want me to pay an additional $560 on a $350 loan and I have already paid $315. They also don't acknowledge receipt of my revocation letter. What is the next order of business here. Should I complain to the NYS atty general for those that refuse to cut me a break and pray for a miracle?
