It is Friday and soon I will be sitting in front of the tube clicking through 100 cable channels and not finding anything to watch but cooking shows and those rag shows like Extra! Who cares about Brittany and KFed. Rosie shut up and if I hear the term "baby bump" one more time I am going to throw up.
I did, however, start watching a show called "Cane" that is about a wealthy Cuban rum producing family in Florida starring Jimmy Smits who plays a convincing part as the adopted son who has been given control of the family business much to the distain of his step brothers. Being married to his step sister doesn't help either. It is really well done and has a great story line. So, like every other show my wife and I like, it will probably get cancelled. Anyone remember the "Wedding Bells?"
This is my segue into the Frog on Friday question. It is a two part question. What TV show do you really like to watch? Don't be embarrassed if it is Brady Bunch reruns or the return of Hee Haw. Also what show do you think they should bring back?


Frog, I LOVE this thread! I will check out "Cane" tonight. The only thing I ever watch on Friday nights is 20/20 but lately they haven't had anything good on, either. I completely agree with you on Brittany, KFed, etc!!!!

What tv show do I really like to watch? Well, I record Dr. Phil daily. I watch Sopranos reruns on HBO, and I also like Dateline NBC, MSNBC Investigates, etc. And don't laugh at me, but I watch True Life on MTV. They have some really interesting stuff on there.

As far as reruns, I LOVE to watch All in the Family and M*A*S*H, as well as the Jeffersons. And any time I can find a Hee Haw rerun, I watch it!! I love Hee Haw!!!!!!! I rememeber watching it with my dad on Saturday nights :)

A show I would like to see come back is Family Plots. It was a reality show on A & E a year or so ago about a family that worked in a funeral home. It was awesome.

Being a Jersey boy I love the Sopranos because I recognize so many of the places they film. The Bada Bing is on Route 46 in Lodi not far from where I worked. James Gandolfini used to shop in Joe Leones Italian Specialties in Point Pleasant in the summer. The best fresh mozzarella you have ever tried. They would open early just for him and his privacy.

I watch The Office, 30 Rock, My Name is Earl, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Letterman, The Daily Show, The Soup, Best Week Ever, Entourage.

I looooooove The Riches. Its on FX...was on last March & will be back again this year for another 12 week run.

I wish they'd bring back The Monkees. I loved that show so much!

I know I love everything there ...Kash on my next trip..which I hope will be soon since we have not been home in awhile...you may just find me there ...I will even come bearing gifts of icecream :lol:

One of my friends always makes homemade icecream in the summer and I love it. She made coconut last week and it sounded icky but was really good.
