Wow!!! I am not alone. This is unfortunate, I was willing to pay but after the abusive verbal attack, me and my sister recieved I refuse to pay them. My original debt was with HSB (Seamans) however I stopped recieving statements from them for a long while (mind you I had a deferred payent which I didn't have to pay for 1 year) but after not recieving a statement... ummm one forgets. I encountered Coroporate Recieveables only after I did a credit check and saw 1 bad debt and when i called the orifgianl debitor they referred me to them (Corporate Recieveables). They said they have been sending me numerous letters... which is a big fat lie, never recieved anything from them. I was willing to pay but in payments, after I commented to that it was an all out verbal war. I rather have bad credit then to pay them one dime. Is there a way to transfer my debit to some other collection agency... because in all i know I have to pay this debt, but I rather not pay them. Stupid for the owner of the company he could get alot more bees with homey than with vinegar.

well, you could go ahead and make payment to the original creditor ( but make sure you use money order or certified/cashiers check, and send payment CMRR for documentation. Or you could wait till they get tired of playing with your account and pass it along to another agency. however, it seems like the more an account gets passed around, the slimier and more unscrupulous they get.

Collections agencies aren't required to accept a payment plan from you. Your creditor called the balance due in full when you defaulted for whatever reason.

Futher collections activity will continue until the debt is paid in full or settled in full. The only way I know that might help you get transfered to another agency is to send a C&D letter. I know that my agencies just sends the accounts to another agency when we recieve them. Or you could try calling back and speaking to a different person. All collectors aren't the spawn of satan.

That's the only way I know to get them off of your back. If you don't mind the calls or skip tracing efforts they will exaust to find you then keep sending your payments to the origional creditor. It will get posted to your account as the law required. Make sure you keep good documentation of each and every payment you make.
