I have outstanding debt with GFSIL... I authorized a payment for $30 a while ago. And asked for a loan statement to see where I stand. I never recieved a statement and they continue to draw funds out of my checking every Friday. I contacted my bank and am filing a fraud claim. Any advice on how to further handle this?

You need to send them a cease and desist letter, you can use the example below if you wish, you also may want to think about clsing your ban acct and opening a new one and NEVER ever giving your ban information out to anyone in the industry. Good luck

[Insert name of collection agent, if available]

Dear [Insert name of debt collector calling--if available--here]:

1. You are hereby notified under provisions of Public Laws 104-208, also known as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, that your services are no longer desired.

2. You and your organization must CEASE & DESIST all attempts to collect the above debt. Failure to comply with this law will result in my immediately filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and the [Insert your home state here] Attorney General's office. I will pursue all criminal and civil claims against you and your company.

3. Let this letter also serve as your warning that I may utilize telephone recording devices in order to document any telephone conversations that we may have in the future.

4. Furthermore, if any negative information is placed on my credit bureau reports by your agency after receipt of this notice, this will cause me to file suit against you and your organization, both personally and corporately, to seek any and all legal remedies available to me by law.

5. Since it is my policy neither to recognize nor deal with collection agencies, I will settle this account with the original creditor.

Give this matter the attention it deserves!

And have a nice day.

GFSIL is linked with Cash Today Limited. There are a number of topics about them here.

GFSIL will never send you anything about the loan. They claim to be a paperless company. They will continue to do the debits from your account. If you want to stop this, close your checking account immediately and open a different one. That's the only way you can become proactive now.

How much is the loan amount from them and how much have you paid so far? Review through your bank statements and if you find there is a balance, pay it through money order or western union, but don't give out your new account info.

my balance is about $200. I have already opened a new acct and unfortunatly gave them the new info. I had about 3 loans with them and I should be paid off. But since I closed my other account, I am not sure what has all been paid. Which is why I needed the statements. I was fine with them taking $30 every now and then but this past weekend they took out $125. Which I am not ok with. And...where do I send the letter? They have stopped calling me so I do not have any contact info for them.
