Are you bothered by Collection Calls ??

I hope this device works for long. The collectors violating the laws are in bulks and unfortunately, they are not bothered about the laws. They will get a new way to overcome this device. Every person has a specific situation. The collectors will know that this is a general recording and their is no attorney involved. A real attorney is always better than someone who puts an automated speech. For one second, I wonder if the devices can take over attorneys now, how the lawyers will exist in this business.

You have it all wrong aciotsf, its not just a recording, its much, much more ! Let me explain. This device (which is called the DAAN) was developed by an Attorney specifically to route collection calls directly to his office ! Federal Law (yes Federal Law) prohibits call-backs from a collector once an Attorney is involved ! Once the collector calls the Attorney ( and yes, there is a REAL Attorney involved)the collector is required to identify himself and this information is recorded and can be used as EVIDENCE if the collector EVER calls the debtor back !
The Attorney / Inventor of this device (one in the same) has automated the process and has now made it available to only 1 (one) credit counseling Agency in the USA to rid debtors of their annoying collection calls once they enter their debt resolution program. They call this portion of their program their Collection Call Protection Program ! If anyone disobeys this device the evidence is sent to a local Attorney for the debtor for possible Legal Action ! There is NO WAY AROUND the device period !! If the collector wants his money, he must call the Attorney because if he calls the debtor back not only is he possibly violating the law, but he will only get the device again ! Look,, The bottom line is the collector is calling for money and this device gives them the shortest route to Payment Recovery or The Courthouse .. There is nothing like this anywhere and this Dept Resolution Agency has it ! If you have any questions or need more info please let me know since we are not allowed to mention this company by name..

You forgot to add that the attorney must be representing the debtor pertaining to the debt, it will need to be verified. If the attorney does not respond within a certain amount of time frame 15-30 days then the collector can continue to contact the debtor.

I would say this is a cop out. It doesn't sound real. You have to actualy have retained an attorney for the paticulat debt a collector would be calling about. They will call to verify. If they find out you lied, well how would you treat someone you know that knowlingly lied to you? Would you believe anyhting they said again?

Dear FYI: My office monitors many debt related sites so the discussion here about DAAN came to my attention. I'm writing to clear up the confusion. AAA Fair Credit Organization will only issue a DAAN Module to debtors who have signed up for debt resolution and are in a financial position to pay their debt. Most credit counseling / debt resolution programs take 1 to 3 months or more AFTER you've entered the program to end collection calls; pick one and read their FAQs. Continuing collection calls to someone who has entered a repayment program are a waste of the collection agency's resources and could be considered harassment. As a "recovery agent", if an attorney told you to call AAA for your money and it (the money) was available, why would you call the debtor back? The goal is to collect the money, right? So, that is what DAAN does; it gives the collector the shortest, fastest route to payment recovery while giving the debtor the peace of mind they deserve once they begin to pay, not 1 to 3 months or more later. DAAN is NOT for folks who can't or won't pay their debt. DAAN will not even be issued to a debtor unless they have entered AAA's repayment program. Collection calls are a nightmare to debtors for obvious reasons and, as much as I hate to say it, are necessary to get some debtors to the next repayment step. But, once that step has been taken and the money is available, I personally feel the debtor should concentrate on making the payments instead of worrying about the phone ringing, so he can get back to a debt-free, normal life. By the way, I am an attorney and I invented DAAN because I just can't see kicking a person when he is down and trying to get back on his feet. I hope this explanation helps!

Wow, its good to talk to you.. I just wanted to tell you thank you for your Invention, the DAAN unit.. I had a lot of collectors calling me and within one week (maybe 10 days) other than a few stray calls my collection calls STOPPED !! It was so nice to just push the button and away they went.. Thank you again and good luck in the future... It is truly a Godsent piece of Technology ! I would highly recommend faircredit and their use of the DAAN unit for their clients.

i get a call on day at work about a bill that i owned and was threatened in to something that i did't want to do, so i immediately called a lawyer in my city and he got right on it and lo and behold he sued them and i got about 3,000 dollars from it and got another 2,000 from another one. i'm looking for more bill collectors i need the money
