 Last year I found three accounts for Swiss Colony/Seventh avenue on my credit report. All of these were charge offs.I desputed them and then they
did an investigation.I received two letters stating that these accounts had been opened fraudulantly.
In the letter they were to contact all credit bureaus.
I applied to seventh ave. for a futon.Today I get a letter of denial for credit based on my credit report with Swiss Colony.
I phone them and got the biggest and dumbist reason.
They stated that they had to recheck my application.I told them forget the order I wanted them to fix whatever they promised in the letter. Can they deny me based on false information? what are my options?
By signing up a debt counseling session, your provided details (Name, Email ID and Phone No.) will be forwarded to the company advertising on the DebtCC. However, you have no obligation to use their services.
Some creditors and collection agencies refuse to lower the payoff amount, interest rate, and fees owed by the consumer.
Creditors/collection agencies can make collection calls and file lawsuits against the consumers represented by the debt relief companies.
Debt relief services may have a negative impact on the consumer's creditworthiness and his overall debt amount may increase due to the accumulation of extra fees.
The amount which the consumer saves with the use of debt relief services can be regarded as taxable income.
