I am stuck in the payday loan rut with Interim Cash

Robin, be careful of Interim Cash people. They are a big scam. People who have dealt with this company have posted their experiences here. Search on this company in the google box above and you will know more about their business.

Go through your bank statements and find out the status of your account, payments etc. If you have already paid their principal balance, you don't need to pay more because this company is neither licensed in any of the states nor allowed to charge interests and fees on the loans.

If you can provide the following info, we can help you out with the payday laws for your state:

-state you live in
-how much you borrowed from Interim Cash
-was this an internet or storefront loan? (I assume internet?)
-how much have you paid so far?

Another tip is that you may have to close your bank account and open another one in order to regain control of your money. It is often necessary to stop these companies from debiting your account right into negative numbers. Talk with your bank's branch manager and explain the situation. Ask if you can close your current account and open another. Simply putting a stop payment on this company won't stop them - many PDL companies are famous for debiting under a different company name when you block the name you know them by.

These guys are real famous for debiting under another name. Follow Suebee's advice. You might want to file a complaint with the FTC about them calling you as much as they do, familiarize yourself with the FTC law on fair debt collection. They have went to the point of harrassment.
