Someone by the name of Karen called me from BDM processing, stating that someone will be on their way to my work for processing, whatever that means.I asked her what processing is,and she said dont play dumb, that i know what processing is.She said that I owe money,to whatever pay day loan company is,she didnt say.I then told her hat I will go do my taxes today and will have money to pay.She said it will be too late, that I have to pay her immediately, for the amount of 1083 dollars.I didnt even take out the loan for that much!It was a 200 dollar loan, now I have to pay triple or more?So I called her and let her know that I have money to pay the company,it wasnt then that she stated that she was calling from Bass and associates. This website has made me aware of all the scumbags we have in this world.I dont know what to do from now,can anyone help me?Sholud I pay them,or am i gonna get arrested?

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with one of these companies. First of all, no, you're not going to be arrested. That's one of the scare tactics they like to use.

Is this company storefront or off the internet? Also, what is the name of the company? Have you paid any money on the loan so far, including fees and interest?

Do not under any circumstances pay this bass and associates. Keep your refund and tell them to screw off!!!!!!!! Do not pay them a damn dime! These a$$holes are using illegal collection tactics, you are not going to be arrested. File a complaint with florida attorney general's office and your state's attorney general. These people need to be shut down. The only criminal in these cases are the employees who use these illegal collection tactics. The next time somebody from this company calls you tell them they are too late you have already been arrested and posted bail! They want to play games, play games right back, nothing is going to happen to you! Sorry for writing in all caps but i get sick and tired of reading these stories about how people are being scammed by this collection agency!

I also got a call from Bass and Associates, I didn't even waste my time acknowledging that I was the person that they were calling for. However I did get the person's name Paul Eperstien and his number 1-877-281-2220 ext 324 which is also the department number in which he could be reached. When Mr. Eperstien called I informed him that the person he was looking for was not at home and that she was out job hunting. He also informed me that he called my former place of employement and was told that I no longer worked there. Now correct me if I'm wrong, if he was true to the game giving out the information about calling my job and that I was no longer employeed there against the privacy laws? Man, these people need to stop. I'm still pressing on. I hope that the information that I gave about Bass and Associates helps someone else.
