Consummer Credit Counseling of America Not Trustworthy

I congratulate all those who were able to get out of debt. However I must share my story of how I am in more debt than before. Consumer credit counseling of America quoted me $270 consultation fee and forwarded my information to the law offices of Richard Brennan. It’s been a month now and I have received no called nor have any of my calls been returned. My bills are now 2 months late and consumer credit counseling of America only sent an email as an attempt to contact the attorney. They didn’t make any other attempt to help me. For an organization that is supposed to help people get out of debt, I would think that they would try a little harder to help me get out of debt but now I owe even more than before because of the late fees and they are keeping my “consultation feeâ€Â. The person I spoke with was not even surprised that the attorney’s office did not even try to contact me. I would suggest to those out there to please research carefully before believing that any organization would really help you get out of debt just because they care.

A good rule of thumb when seeking an agency to help you consolidate or settle your debts is to consult the Better Business Bureau, and investigate the agency you are looking at using.
