I have 2 delinquent loans with discount advances and mycashnow. They must be affiliated because I am getting calls for bothe from Credit Protection Depot. I alled today to make arrangments, they told me I owe close to $300 on each. The loans were only $100. Theytold me I had to pay $300 by Friday or they were reporting me to the credit bureaus. What can be done? :?:

how much if any fees were debited before defaulting?also what state are you in?this is a bottomfeeder CA so chances are these are not legal loans.you would only owe the principle.which is 100.00 each loan.

No fees were taken out. My husband lost his wallet at a game, so we closed the account before any money was due. I used that as leverage to take my time paying them, but now that I am ready, the fees have really accumulated.

I am in NJ. What is a bottomfeeder CA. I will pay the principle on both immediately, but what do I say to them once I pay them to prevent them from going after me further?

bottomfeeder CA'S are not licensed therefore have to threaten you with things they can't do.like you will be arrested, you commited fraud.neither of which is true.also since pdl's are illegal in NJ anyhow they lent you money illegaly.you only owe the principle borrowed.nothing more.get your AG involved if necessary to get this done, but don't let these places strong arm or bully you.they broke the law lending in a state where they are not allowed to.
