I have obtained payday loans from 12 lenders. can anyone tell me if their legit lenders. i am from New York. They are:
1. access processing
2. huskhawk
3. instant cash
4. lakota cash
5. world wide cash
6. B & L services (Pack management group)
7. pay co
8. TJF (Bahamas Market group)
9. Summit group
10. sandpoint capital
11. nationwide cash
12. my cash now

first welcome.second since pdl's are prohibited in NY all of yours are illegal,so if you could provide the following.

1)how much borrowed from each
2)how much paid back to each

since they are all illegal you are only obligated to pay back the principle.any fees debited go toward the loans.you need to secure your bank account.close it and open a new one.if you can't close it put a hard block on it.then you can catch up on your other bills.if you don't close or hard block your account the pdl's will continue to debit.stop that cold by closing your account.

well you have overpaid every single pdl.so once you close your account send letters stating that you now know that pdl's are illegal in NY.also state that you are expecting these pdl's to mark you PIF.you can try for a refund, but these places might not go for that.in fact they will try to tell you that they are legal or because they are internet the laws don't apply to them.well then you file AG complaints.just be prepared for these places to respond with stupid threats.just get the account closed and know these places can't do diddly squat except to try to harrass more money out of you.do not believe one word from them.

I just got off the phone with oak view law group and They are going to help me settle the ones that I owe principles with. The ones that I over paid they will try get the account closed as paid in full. Do you think this the way to go? Some of these places don't have any addresses where i can send letters out.

Do I call the Attorney Generals office and file the complaint or should I go there personally?

you can file complaints on line,by snail mail.it's up to you.i would try to work this myself if i were you.you have overpaid all of your pdl's.every single one of them.if you don't mind the initial deluge of stupidity you can get these illegal pdl's out of life without assistance.

I recently took out a loan from Lakota Cash. I borrowed $300 with a $90 dollar fee. I am trying to pay it in full this friday. I tried to call the number that I initially had and it is not working. are they con-artists? Wat should I do?

I got this lovely little note from them in their demand letter for their loan. The loan was for 500.00 and I have paid 600.00. I closed my account.

Under your executed contract, we have legal recourse to garnish through your employer for debit owed. We certainly would like to
work this out first. We will automatically attempt payment on your next pay date unless we hear from you to set up a payment
plan. After your 2nd return, we will initiate the process.

I replied:

To whom it may concern;

I hereby revoke your right to use any and all wage assignment I may or may not have signed with you. You no longer have my permission to use this wage assignment, which is a federal law. If you fail to abide by my wishes, there will be consequences to your actions as I am sure you are aware. I have sent a copy of this to my employer, therefore any wage assignment made by your company will be denied.

Sincerely,

Here's their reply:

Dear,

We are in receipt of your email. As clearly indicated in its website disclaimers and the loan documents executed by you, Lakota Cash, LLC is a wholly Native American owned limited liability company. Our website clearly identifies its location within the exterior boundaries of the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation, a sovereign Native American Nation. As such, Lakota Cash, LLC conducts its business under Federal law and the laws of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. It is exempt from state regulation due to its Native American status. Pursuant to Federal Law, Lakota Cash, LLC is a completely lawful enterprise in any area.
You agreed to be bound solely by the laws of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe and the
jurisdiction of its Courts, to the exclusion of all others. In addition, you agreed to comply with
all terms and conditions of the Loan Agreement upon execution and return to our office located
on the Reservation. Lakota Cash, LLC relied upon your representations in good faith and
approved your loan based upon such representations. Lakota Cash, LLC loaned you the money
in good faith that you would repay the note as promised. Lakota Cash, LLC is fully within its
rights to require repayment as originally agreed.
I sent your contract and your time stamp along with this legal letter to your mailing address yesterday you will be receiving this information, along with your employer.
Attached with this letter is the contract that you signed electronically letting you know your responsibility is to pay this loan. You may have the right to revoke authorization through your bank account, but you do not have the right to revoke your wage assignment. We would rather not garnish your wages and would like to settle this without sending in the garnishment documents to your employer. If we have to pursue the documentation to your employer we will do so.

Sincerely,
Jada K.
Lakota Cash Customer Service Supervisor

I know how these people work, I gave them a false address for my employer. I actually work in CA and the main offices are back East. I told my employer to revoke any attempt to do this. Any advise on a reply to them? I have sent them the letter saying that they are illegal in CA. I am also filing chapter 7 bankruptcy on them, this should be fun. They don't know about it yet.

Hi there,

I received one of these wage garnishment letters also from the Lakota Cash Customer Service Supervisor as well. What was the email address that she used to send it to you? I want to make sure that it was consistent with the email that I received.

If posting that information is forbidden, could you send it to me in a private message?

Thanks!!

Its real simple Sarahj-when these places take or actually steal more than legally allowed out of a persons bank account its kinda sorta ILLEGAL. Thats what pisses people off. If it bothers you so much, that people are here asking for and receiving help in dealing with these kind of crooks, then get off this site and go bother someone else-Im sure you got more harrassing calls to make to try and scare people out of their money

Because if they are an illegal lender they will change their name and hit the account with larger withdrawals.
