I am not trying to get out of these, take full responsibility, but I am to the point that I cannot pay my bills. I have been looking for a part time job. I am so afraid that I will lose my job, I work for the state, have a decent job, just got caught up in this trap. I have had my bank account since 1997 with Wachovia and they are sometimes wishy washy and my checks are direct deposited. I have been on this site all day yesterday trying to figure out how to go about handling this mess Ive created for myself. I cant decide if I wanted to hire a company or handle this myself. I have until 11/21 that's when everything will hit the fan. I just got paid on 11/6, but I am broke, kept getting money to cover these fees. As I am looking at all this money that I have wasted on these stupid loans, I just want out of this!!

First, start here:

This will give you an idea of what the laws are in Florida.

Second, you may want to call the branch manager of your bank and ask if they can put a freeze on your account until you've had time to get something initiated. I'm afraid even a debt consolidation company wouldn't be able to stop things before tomorrow.

The good thing that I see is that these are not huge loans. Take a deep breath. You may have to close the account and open a new one so they can't keep debiting and don't have access to your funds. That puts you back in control, and may allow you time to schedule payment arrangements. Check and see if the companies will voluntarily do extended payment plans where they normally set it up over a 4 payment period and you just pay off the balance. My other advice - start putting your own money aside so you can borrow from and repay yourself. No more pdls is my new stance. Keep us posted.
