I have 4 PDL online right now, plus 2 in store. How do I find out if the online lenders are not legal in Iowa? I have two of them almost completely paid off, and I still have two that I have just started paying on. Is there any way to get some of my money back yet if I have in fact overpaid on a PDL? Is there any way to get these consolidated in the state of Iowa so it is easier to make one smaller payment instead of a huge chunk every week out of my paycheck?

Contact with Iowa Division of Banking in order to know whether or not the pdl companies are licensed in your state. If they are not licensed, then you will have to bear only the principal. Ask them for the refund, if you have overpaid them. Check out this page to know about how to deal with illegal lenders:

If they are legal, then you are required to pay both the principal and interest. In this case, you may enroll in a debt consolidation program to replace your multiple bills into a single monthly payment.
