Hi all,
I'm in IN. I have 4 loans.
1 storefront.
A-1 Cash Advance, original amount is 450.00 plus fees
3 Online
Cash Transfer Centers, original amount is 300.00 now they are trying to charge 623.00 last email I got from them and it is now with NRS collections
My Cash Now, original amount was 400 and now they are trying to say it is 1077.64 and with CPD
B.I.G. for 200 and is now 240 and I have paid well over 1000 in finance or "extension" charges over the past year and I have not heard from them since I closed my bank account back in January.
Any ideas on how to take care of these now and if they are even legal (the online ones) and what steps I should take?
Thanks,
Chrisann

read the sticky about dealing with illegal pdl. The first thing
read the sticky about dealing with illegal pdl. The first thing you will need to do is secure your money by closing your checking account. There is a sticky about that as well.
MyCashNow/cpd is illegal.
I am almost positive CTC and BIG are illegal as well.
Oh I just reread- you already closed your account. Then I would just send out the letter thats listed in the 13th post in the sticky about dealing with illegal lenders adjusting to your state and situation.
Your store front is 100% legal and you need to make arrangements
