I have dealt with them before..I have gone into collections with them, and they have worked with me on repayment. This is one company that I have actually been able to get along with. If I were you, I would call the number...see what your options are, and if you don't agree...they can't make you pay...they must come to an agreement with you..good luck

Diane, I am usually one who likes everything in writing however, since this is one of the pdls you need to work out a payment plan with...I would call and be sure to follow up in writing. You can also search Cashnet USA in the search box to see what other members/guests have written about them. I find it helps to hear what others like the guest post above have to say and have experienced....and Guest does have a good point.

Here is the deal. I just called Cashnet USA and tried to set-up a payment arrangement. The only arrangement they could offer was $283 for every 2 weeks for my next 3 pay periods. I said I honestly didn't think I could do that much, that I only felt comfortable agreeing to around $100 every 2 weeks. I was told they couldn't set up a formal payment arangement but I should still send what I can, when I can. I wouldn't give them my account info so they said I could go to Wal Mart and do a Moneygram. I asked what the ramifications would be since I couldn't pay the $283 every 2 weeks. I was told nothing as long as I continue making payments and have it paid off in 60-90 days. After that it will go to a third party collection agency.
Not the best but better than nothing. I do feel better since I'm making this effort and knowing I will never be in this situation AGAIN.
What are your thoughts????
Diane

Cashnet is one ipdl that tries to follow state laws and it sounds like they are being failrly agreeable.. a key thing to keep in mind is that even past 90 days they will likely keep working with you so that they dont have to share with a ca they want your money and will take the easiest way out to get it.

I am with JJ, as long as the money keeps comming they won't turn it over to a CA. You are paying them and they are going to want the money for themselves.

I rec'd another call from them today and thought I'd be nice and return the call to let them know I did speak with them yesterday. The gal said the calls will continue as I didn't set up a payment arrangement. I again explained that I can't pay the $286 bi-weekly that they want, can only do $100. She stated the calls will continue because of that. I stated I sent a letter about not receiving phone calls and she says they don't have to follow those "letters". She then says thank you and hangs up. How rude.
I know this will be normal. Is there anything that can be done about the calls, or just ignore them and hit delete? Should I send another cease and desist letter? If so, can someone send me that.
Thanks,
Diane

as the original creditor they can basically call you as much and whenever they want... unless they are so bad as to meet the criminal definition of harassment. You could try send them a letter/email and/or fax stating your intentions.. once they see a history of payments they may back off or at least be a bit friendlier
