I made payment arrangements with casnet USA. I requested an EPP and they set me up on a payment plan. The plan consisted of 3 payments. 1) 196.09 2) 196.08 and 3) 196.08. I made the first payment on 10/17 and the second payment they took today 10/31 but they also took an additional 88.25. Cashnet claims to be a CFSA member and also a BBB member.

Should I call them or should I call CFSA and report them? I am also going to file a claim with the BBB for sure. You cannot even trust legal internet PDL's When I get out of this mess I will never ever put myself in this situation again.

i would complain to the CFSA asap.i would be prepared to forward the email of the EPP.the extra amount along with a record of the extra debit.also file a BBB complaint.

Well I must say the CFSA was not that helpful. They did send me an email with a complaint form to fill out. Other than that all they did was give me a phone number for Cash America (parent company of Cashnet USA) who transferred me right back where I started from. I finally told Cash America that I wanted to speak to a manager from Cashnet USA of course no one answered the phone. I kept calling Cash America back and I think the girl was so sick of me calling she put me through to the Vice President of Operations. Well to my surprise I spoke to one of the nicest people I have ever dealt with. Within 30 minutes he called me back and got the ball rolling. The apologies were flowing and I think I am going to get a PIF out of it. I guess it pays to be persistent. (I was off today so I had the time to be a real nag!!!! lol)

I have that happen, too. I had 3 PDL's at one time. With all of these fees coming out of my check's, every other week, it was getting TOO much. I had to 'stop payment' on one of them...just din't have any money left out of my checks. I called ONE of them up. I THOUGHT I had made arrangements to send them Money Orders, for what I could afford. Next thing I knew this certain PDL took the ENTIRE balance out of my account. Gosh....it was a mess!

Well even though they were very apologetic when I got to the VP the first guy I spoke to pretty much said you are sol. So do I believe it was an honest mistake taking an additional $88.25 like they tried to tell me? NO I think they were hoping I didn't notice but like I said the VP was really a nice guy and truly wanted to help me. If all PDL companies had employees like this guy I would not have any complaints. In the last two weeks I have settled with Sonic, Cashnet, Loanshoponline and ameriloan. I have four to go, Eastside Lenders (I have heard nothing from them I owe them $30) SGQ Ltd (I Have heard nothing from them I over paid by $150) Paychecktoday.com (I have heard nothing from them I owe $30) and last but not least Cash Advance Network (I owe them $120) and they turned me over to ARM who is harassing me at work. I filed a complaint with the BBB, AG and the AZ Dept of Financial Institutions.

Just kind of proves that PDL's don't 'honor' their own agreements. How do you NOT notive an extra $88.00 ( or so..) coming out of your account? Did the PDL company really think you were going to be 'blind'? Guess they did.
