Do you think that including that we would be contacting the ach processor for the company in the cease and desist letter (refund letters for me) would cause problems. I just don't want them to call the Ach and say that they will be getting calls and then the Ach's not helping us. Please let me know what you think I want to send new ones out today!

Mandy Are you sending these letters through email or USPS? I wouldn't mention the processors until you have their name & phone number, the pdl's may take that as an idol threat. Get the names and numbers of those processors, and call them, asap! Pressure these ACH processors to contact their customer (the pdl's) and make them aware (the pdl's) that they are breaking the law! If it were me, I would contact the ACH processors that these pdl's are using above anything else. Then proceed with the letters, BBB, AG, etc. Have you closed your account yet, or at least placed a debut block on it?

Mandy. . .call Intercept EFT and/or ACH Commerce and ask if they process for your PDLs. If yes, tell them that you have revoked your debit authorization and they continue to debit your account. Then send an email to the PDLs letting them know that their processor has been contacted. What PDLs are you speaking about? Perhaps I could help you with who they process with.

The branch manager did not even know what to do. I have another post under mjm43566 I believe that you were on there too it explains it all. They basically did not even know how to handle it and had to call customer service and that was the branch manager. They have awarded me 3 of the pdl payments stating they were fraud but not the rest even though they were from the same company so it makes no sense at all. They can not tell me that some debits are legal and some are not from the same company especially when the ones that were illegal were in Jan. but anything up to present date is ok???? I do have my account on debit only so they are no longer taking out. I am owed refunds and I am writing the bank president like cannr told me to and I am requesting him to look into it.

Mandy, can you find out who the CEO is? Usually if you look at their website it will tell you, and sometimes it will even have the name of the CEO and their email address. I would continue to pressure them if I were you.

I am in the process of getting the info for the processors. I have the account on a debit only they will not close it because it will reopen if they try to get the money. The bank has given me the big run around and that is why I am writing to them. I am handeling the pdls through reporting them and requesting a refund. The bank is a whole different problem. If they would have helped me and not messed around making different descions and would actually get back to me I would not be forced to send the president a letter. Cannr is the one that said I should try that route. I will also be reporting my bank to the CCC.

Some banks just don't get it. My bank was on my side and once my account was closed, it was closed. No reopening. I actually closed my account and opened another in the same bank, at the same branch. They promised me that would not link it. I don't think the PDLs tried to debit again after that so I don't think it was ever an issue. All of my PDLs are now settled/closed/gone to hell so I don't give my account much thought any longer. Keep at em' and keep us posted.

I live in Oklahoma. If I close my account because of a vip payday loan that is unresolved, can they prosecute me for it? If not, would they try to get the money any other way? And I want to pay it, but cannot get in touch with vip..does anyone have a way I can do so?

If you loan is with The VIP Loan Shop, they are located outside of the US. The laws of whichever country they are in do not apply in the US.
