I am sorry and you may have posted this previously but what state are you in? The first thing that you need to do is give them an ach revocation ltr stating that you are revoking any rights they may have in debiting your accounts for money that you owe them.

Someone with more knowledge than I will be along shortly to offer more advice and don't get discouraged all of us have been in your shoes at one time.

Ladybug is right, but before you send those letters revoking authorization to debit your account, you may want to close that bank account. If you send the letters first, many of those companies will start debiting your account constantly, like every other day. I dealt with Epaydayloan (still trying with that one). They've debited my account up to 4 times in one day and usfastcash sent through a demand draft check. Read the important stuff in this forum on closing your account before you do that too because the banks can be problematic. Hang in there. Its not easy getting out. You have to stick with it if you want to see the light at the end of the debt tunnel.

mrthumper, you have quite a few unlicensed/illegal pdls. I see you are in Ohio and that you have already closed the bank account that the pdls have the information on. Good job. That's the first step. Now, these guys are going to hound you to death via telephone and email once they don't get their payments. You need to check and see which ones are actually licensed/legal to lend to residents in your state. I'm positive BIG, Quickest Cash Advance, USFast Cash, and Cash Transfer Centers will not be licensed/legal to lend. Cash Transfer Centers is notorious for sending wage assignments to your employer. You must send them a letter revoking any wage assignment that you signed with them now. Get this to them before they have the opportunity to send it to your employer.

here are the laws for your state. Please be sure that your bank will not "force open " your closed account when these debits hit. Many banks do , and it will be a major headache dealing with all the NSF fees. there is a sticky at the top of the pay day forum that should always be read prior to closing your account. Sometimes a hard debit block works better. In any case please check with your bank.
here are the Payday loan laws for Ohio (just select your state),

I posted this in your other thread about paydayyes:

I can give you a tip how to deal with them. :P I am from Ohio also, I sent them a "not so nice" email and told them and told them I demanded a PIF letter, I gave them 48 hrs to do so. I informed them I was filing a complaint with my AG, Department Of Financing, BBB, and I also told them I was going to write an article about their company's poor business practice and submit it to every news site on the Internet. I received a PIF the next morning, but I still followed through with what I said I was going to do!

Hi,
I was wondering if I can pay the $75 payment on 8/14/08 instead of the whole amount. I am confused as to how I pay the rest of the loan back. What is the dollar amount?

lost I may be able to help you, I am from Ohio too, start your own topic and list the following information so we can help you.
-Names of each pdl company.
-Whether they are store front or Internet.
-How much you borrowed.
-How much you paid so far.
-The state in which you reside.
I'm sorry to tell you this, but there is only one sure way to stop the withdrawals, and that is to close your account. If that isn't an option, then tell the bank to put a hard debit block on your account. Before you close your account, read this information at the link below. http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/close-account.html

Please do not let any of these pdl's know you are going to close your account, until AFTER you have done it!
