Has anyone had any dealings with the Loan Shop Online? I received a letter from them and at the bottom of the letter it also has the name LTS Management Services. I borrowed $300 and paid them so far $720. I am from Florida.

I have had payday loans from several companies and this is the only one I can recommend. They were pleasant to deal with and followed your instructions.

Could someone help me also? These people are driving me nuts! They are constantly attempting to withdraw money from my account and every agreement I propose to them for payback is unacceptable. I just want these people gone from my life!!!

Email the illegal lender letter to wmashburn@ltsmanagement.com and ask for a refund of any overpayment you've made OR make payment arrangements to pay back the prinicpal amount borrowed. Make sure to include language revoking ACH permission and wage assignment.

Also file complaints with the FTC, your state's AG office and the BBB.

Once I sent the letter to them, Mr. Mashburn got back to me pretty quickly. He marked the account as paid in full, refunded about 50% of the money I overpaid and sent me a letter stating the account was paid.

This lender isn't licensed to lend anywhere in the U.S., you would be better off closing your account as your account will never be safe again as long as they have your account information.

my speech to everyone who uses payday loan companies is to be very careful of them especially with the fees. i have dealt with several of them. they really help you when you need it, but the fees are really awful. if you don't pay the loan back the next month, you end up just paying the fee each month, and nothing on the balance which can really accumulate.

i also dealt with loan shop online, and they were descent to me when i needed extensions of time. but unfortunately, with me, i still had to file bankruptcy. not because of them, but because i was so loaded down in debt and i am on disability.

if you must deal with them, try and pay it back as soon as possible. there is another company that if you must have a loan is called MY CASH COMPANY. they are very good also, but the fees with all of them are terrible.

PLEASE TRY NOT TO DEAL WITH THESE PAYDAY LOAN COMPANIES IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. AND BE VERY CAREFUL OF THESE PEOPLE THAT CALL YOU UP AND THREATEN YOU WITH THESE FOREIGN ACCENTS. THEY ARE SCAMMERS TRYING TO GET MONEY. PLEASE BEWARE OF THEM. THEY ARE RIP OFF ARTISTS. DON'T GIVE THEM ANYTHING. ALSO IF THEY CALL YOU, CALL YOUR LOCAL PHONE COMPANY AND HAVE THESE CALLS TRACED.

payday loan companies do not have people calling you like that. they have their own collection department within the company.

These guys rolled over two loans to me despite my efforts to pay them back, to the tune of $6300. I am in California and have just found out that they are not licensed to operate in CA and are not allowed to loan the amount they have and are not by law allowed to rollover loans at all PERIOD. They suddenly stopped debiting my account thank god but are now trying to get me to reactivate a new loan even though they have a Cease and Desist Order from the State of California. I am suing for the whole $6300 and anything else I can get as punitive damages. Wish me luck!

got a $200 loan on 3/4/2010 from "LOANSHOP/ANTILLE 8008069971", also known as Loan Shop Online. I replied to the email authorizing the FULL amount $200 plus the $60 fee to be taken out of my account on 3/26/2010, and $260 was deducted from my account on 3/26/2010. I assumed everything was settled.. On 5/26/2010, I received a phone call from "HCS" a representative named "Charles Watkins" with a call back number of 914-371-6826, gave me my case # for a lawsuit they are putting against me for the amount I borrowed, $200. They said that they only deducted the fee, $60, and not the principal amount. He then transferred me to his "manger" who then began reading me my banking account and routing numbers and the date the deposit was made. They were clear in saying that I could not interrupt while they were reading this information, as if they were going to edit our phone conversation. Obviously I kept saying it was not true and I have proof of the email authorizing the full payment to be made, and also the debit of $260 from my bank account. They said I could either pay the $200 now, or it would cost me around $6,000 to have legal representation in court to fight the claims. He then wished me luck and said "God Bless you". I'm a little worried about this whole situation. I do have proof of everything, so I am covered there but does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do?

Loan Shop Online is a scam. They are NOT located in Wilmington, DE. That is a non-functioning PO Box..
**They even have since changed the company name to continue operating to non-suspecting customers. They are now called "EXTRA CASH LIVE". The same phony PO Box in DE. This is the same company, be informed.
They are actually located in downtown Kansas City, MO. It's real name is LTS Management. I know this all to be true because my closest friend worked for them... stories of shady dealings
He saw account after account where people had paid $1000s to extend loans that were only $400 to begin with!!

Hi everyone,

These things usually happen when you can not afford to maintain a proper budget at the time of getting your paychecks or not keeping your expenses up to your income limit. Hence in order to meet such urgent expenses you need a payday loan.

I had a guy name Steve Hutchins calling me at work saying that i owned Loanshop Online $500 back in 2008 and now i have to pay back 1250$. I requested him not to called me at work but to emailed me or called me on my cellphone and he refused. He saids that the company willing to settle if i could pay $750 right away. Anyway, i told him that let me check and i will call him back, then he got really furious over the phone saying that i'm refuse to pay and he will take further actions like keeps calling me at work or possible law suit, before he hang up the phone he said no more $750 now you have to pay $1050. What should i do?

I just got a loan with LoanShopOnline for $500, and I had 4 choices of how I wanted to do my repayment plan. I explained to them that I have a check coming to me the first week in January for over $6,000 but need help in the mean time...but the person I spoke with very clearly explained that there is a fee of $150 for doing the loan (yes it's steep, but I'm working on some credit repair issues right now and until that's resolved this was a last but necessary resort). Therefore when I get paid on 12/31 I will pay the $150 plus $50 of the loan, and on 1/15 I will pay the blanace in full. They did provide me with paperwork which I read very closely....hoping there won't be any problems; this is the first time I've ever done anything like this...does this sound like it's ok to anyone who's dealt with them (or others) before????? Thanks!!!!

filing an AG complaint and telling them when they call to pi$$ off.pdl's are prohibited in NY and being as such you are only obligated to payback the 400.00.since they are illegal in NY anything debited in fees gets deducted from the 400.00 meaning not only do you not owe,but they owe you.file the complaint and ignore any attempts by them to try and get more $$$$ out of you.you owe them nothing.

Regardless of where they are location, check your State's Financial Code in relation to deferred deposit transactions. In most cases, the entity MUST be licensed for such activity within YOUR state - unless, of course, such activity is expressly prohibited in the first place.

I filed a claim with my bank in effort to recover the illegally levied fees LoanShop took from me over the last seven months - to the tune of $1460. The entire investigation takes about two weeks, so I'll have to update you all then .... but there is some form my bank is sending me and, when I return it, I intend to include all of the relevant State Financial Code violations (for MY state) as well as evidence that LoanShop (and/or ANY of it's dba's and/or affiliates) are NOT legally licensed to conduct deferred deposit transactions with consumers of my State.

In filing the claim, I also had to concede to the original $300 credit from LoanShop ... .but compared to the fees they charged me, deducting the original $300 from $1460 (if there is a chance I will get a refund of the balance) is a-okay by me.

That sounds great keep us posted you give hope to others like me. I am in New Jersey and even though Loanshop has not come after me yet I have other ones trying to come after me and I am not feeling it. I have paid so much in illegal fees and had to reloan after paying the loan off and it is just crazy.

Well, a partial win at this point (it seems) . . . .

It seems as though LoanShop Online has given up insofar as trying to follow-up or bully me into giving them any more money to which they are not legally entitled ....

However, it seems that the claim I filed through my bank to try to recover the illegal fees that Loanshop Online levied upon me was denied - due to Loanshop providing "evidence" that I agreed to allow them to deduct the fees from my account (i.e. through the original "agreement").

I suppose I could file a complaint through my State Attorney General - but, ultimately, I'm not sure how far that will actually get me. While I am glad that I am no longer being raped of $90 every two weeks, I am sure that whomever runs "Loanshop Online" is laughing at the $1440 in fees they extracted from me over the last seven months.

I have had several loans with Loanshoponline and have not had any problems. Yes the fees are high but like they say if you pay it off right away you only have the one fee. Beware there is another company online that is called The Loan Shop online, they are NOT the same. The second is a rip-off! They should not be allowed to use a name so close to the other one. Anyway hope this helps someone.I know we all have problems at times and if your credit is bad like a lot of us with this "wonderful" economy, we need to do what we can to get by.
